That happens to me too sometimes
Usually, when I discover a new blog, I read the last 10 posts at least to share any interesting ones. As for websites with resources, that’s more complicated. Sometimes it takes a long time to check out all the pages and see what my colleagues might find useful, but it’s always fun and interesting.
Thanks for the NAJIT link. I have been following the issue of certification/standardization for quite a while (my article on EN 15038 in the German translators’ association being one of the recent results). It was also the subject of TM-Europe 2012 (Translation Management Conference) in Warsaw (just got back from here). However, there is still no consensus on which standard is appropriate considering there is in fact not ONE translation industry or market, but many – judicial, financial, legal, technical, corporate communication etc. Would appreciate some links or “discoveries” as regards the issue of certification/standardization in similar freelance “industries” like, say, journalism or photography. Once again, thanks for the compilation.
