This series of posts was inspired by Lifehacker’s How I Work series, which I’ve been reading for quite some time and thoroughly enjoy. It’s about time we discover how our colleagues work and get to know them a little better.
If you want to participate in this fun series, send us an email at info@linguagreca.com so we can send you the Word template where you can fill in your answers and your bio (incl. your site/blog/social media links) and then send it back to us as an attachment along with your photo (optional but preferred). If you don’t like any of the questions, just delete them and add your own. You can read the previous interviews here.

Hey Catherine!
Very cool list that gives a glimpse what it’s like to be you. Toronto–reallly? I’ve been a Torontonian (I hate that term, sounds like a dinosaur) and I’m not sure there’s really anything good about being in Toronto, haha!
Anthony
I love your city and Canada in general 🙂 Thanks for your comment Anthony!
I loved this post. Not only did I find some new things about you, but I have just added two new book titles on my to-read list. How come you’d choose Canada over Greece (at least in terms of weather and beaches)?
Well, apart from the great beaches and the mild weather (although both I and hubby prefer the winter and rain than the endless Greek summer) and a few other things (family, great food), the living standards are much better in Canada (closer to conferences & clients, health system, government services and many more). If we get the chance, we’d love to try living there!
If you prefer rain, maybe we should swap places. I’d love an endless summer (sigh). As for Canada, I remember my partner and I were thinking of moving there, but that was many years ago. I don’t know why we didn’t in the end…. But for now we are happy in the UK.
Well, I wouldn’t mind living in the UK again, we both miss it very much after spending so many years for studies there 🙂 But not forever. We want to explore a new country and Canada has many similarities with the UK anyway (I hope the rain part too).
Vancouver is where all the rain is at. Toronto you get the mood swings–some days it’s 26C and the next day it can be 9~10C. Crazy?
Anthony
We thought about Vancouver at first because of the rain thing, but it’s much more expensive than Toronto and there’s a huge Greek community in Toronto, perfect for Greek translators 🙂
