The link to “Emotional Intelligence in Leadership” caught my eye. Looks like it would be an interesting event too. My problem with it is that it’s not really something you can “teach” to someone who is lacking it. You either have it or you don’t, do you know what I mean? Good luck to them anyway.
I think it can be taught and learned, if you are open to the teachings of successful leaders, at least I hope so. It’s like public speaking and other soft skills. Some people are naturally gifted and most others have to work on it 😉
