Thank you for the compilation. I am happy to report that of the 17 mispronounced words, only #1 was an issue for me. Growing up in NYC, it is common to “axe” a question, even though the English teacher would grate on the incorrect pronunciation. Once I became an adult, I only revert to “axe” when speaking to my NYC paisanos.
Thanks for your comment Emily! I haven’t had trouble with the words on that list but I always mispronounce “salmon”, I just can’t drop the “l” 🙂
